Weekend without Daddy

This past weekend, Josh was able to go to the Nebraska/Wisconsin football game in Madison with his parents and siblings.  They had a great time.  And, I was home having fun with the kids.

Saturday morning Avery was not feeling well, so we hung out at home all morning.  Avery actually left cartoons and went back up to her room to sleep.  That made me know for sure she was not feeling well.  When she woke up feeling better, so off to lunch and the zoo we went.

Sunday we had a nice morning at church & Sunday school, then home for lunch and a short rest.  Then off to Roca's Pumpkin patch for 4 hours!  We are just spoiled with wonderful weather this fall, so we took full advantage of the 80+degree day.  The pumpkin patch is sporting some new activities this year and we did it all.  My personal favorite was the new jumping pillows, the rainbow trampoline type thing.  It was awesome.  Ben and Cameryn's favorites were the jumping pillows and the farm made bumpy slide.  Avery loved the pony ride, and corn maze.  We eat, played, then got our pumpkins to take home.  Dinner and baths all before Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma came rolling in.  Just as mommy was starting to lose her patience after 3 days.  Perfect timing, perfect weekend.
