end of summer

Oh, I LOVE summer.  They say this will be the last of the heat.  I hope not.  Not ready for fall clothes yet!
But, we are in a good routine, all three kids are enjoying school and doing well.
And, as you can tell my the pictures, we are all about the monkey bars right now.

Norma and Angie planned one of, if not THE most beautiful, fun wedding I have ever attended.  And, to have myself and my family all members of the wedding party made it that much more fun!  We all got to experience it together in the same way.

I have been thinking of how to describe the weekend, and words cannot really express the beauty and fun that was had.  Norma and Angie literally thought of every last detail, it was an amazing wedding.  I cannot wait to see all of the pictures!

Thank you for sharing your day with us and including us.  I wish Angie and Jason many blessed years of marriage ahead.  And, welcome Jason into our crazy family!

Ocken Reunion, Ocken Farm

Cousin Max was a wonderful farm guide for the kids.
They started with the goat/cat house and that was probably the overall favorite for Avery and Emerson.

Uncle Randy built an amazing two story treehouse that is gorgeous.  Complete with a porch swing underneath that Avery and Emerson swang on and sang songs.  Too cute.

Ben also enjoyed the goat house.

Avery and Emerson spent hours, literally hours "taking care of" the cats.
Grandpa took the kids on a tour of his childhood.  Here we are at the grave site of Grandpa's parents.  Paul and Ada Ocken.
 Grandpa always the educator.

Grandparents and grandkids.

Thank you to Randy and Nancy Ocken for hosting such a nice reunion.  Your farm is just beautiful, thank you for sharing your home, your passions with us.  We had a wonderful time.
