Stop #3

My camera must not have made it out for our third stop on our trip. Thursday we drove down to Thumper Pond Resort in Ottertail, MN. All the Mitzel's were there for a few days before heading up to cousin Del's wedding.

Thumper Pond had an awesome waterpark very age appropriate for my kids. We checked in at 4p to swim, then dinner with my cousin Katie, Amy, Uncle Jim, and my parents. My cousin Katie had to fly out early Friday morning so I made sure to spend time with her while I could.

My Dad and all four of his brothers and sisters spent the night sorting thru my grandma's photos. Let me tell you, that was interesting, scary and fun! Interesting to see all our great, great, greats, etc. Fun to relive the old times in our family, and scary to see what my own children are going to look like! Seeing all of my Dad's elementary school pictures was like seeing Ben grow up in front of our eyes. Thankfully, that turned out good for him so there is hope! It's great to see and feel the connection to family.
