Here we are, Aug. 19th and already the first day of school! Preschool that is. We are holding Avery and Benjamin and they will start Kindergarden next year. So, off to preschool for one more year. We stayed at the same school, but they are switching to a new teacher this year. A decision that I was sure was the right thing to do, but my heart told me differently this mornng. It was hard on me too, to drop them off in a new room where we didn't know the routine, the kids, etc. But, they had a good day and it's only going to get harder. So, suck it up Mom! They will be going Mon, Wed, Friday mornings this year. As you can see Avery was excited and ready to go, and Ben, well he went.
I should have known this was coming, Cameryn insisted on having a backpack too! She was convinced she was going. She was right up there posing and saying cheese along with Avery and Benjamin. (For those who haven't yet heard me tell them that she will say she is 5 when asked.)
She had to have her backpack, thankfully, we had an extra. Thank you, Ella!
Josh surprised the kids and walked them into school, all of them. As we were saying our good-byes to Avery and Ben, Cameryn got right in line and gave us her hugs and bye byes too! I really think she would have stayed!
