Big Red

Our weekends again are all about the Huskers and that makes for one happy Daddy.

I love how you can see my techy child in the bottom of this picture w/my phone, also taking a picture.

We went down and checked out some of the new facilities they are adding on and I thought this hoop & ball were very cool!
The hometown hero, Jordan Hooper #35.  She had a great game that day.  She was rushing off for a media requirement, but was nice enough to stop for a picture.
No, you are not seeing double.  This is Cameryn's buddy, Orla.  Another Alliance grandchild.  She is almost 4 and so sweet.  We also got to meet her new little brother, Oscar.  He is 3 months old and so precious.
I just love the look on Cameryn and Orla's face in this picture.  Poor Avery.

These pictures are from last weekend.  But, really to only be a week behind is pretty good for me anymore.  Josh and I were plesantly surprised to get a phone call during the week that Dave and Linda were going to come down for the weekend to see the Nebraska Men & Women play basketball.  It was company that we all needed, something different.

Saturday Dave and Linda arrived early afternoon.  We headed down to the boys game, in which Nebraska smoked Illinois.  Then out to Misty's for a wonderful dinner and great drinks.  After the kids were in bed the four of us stayed up  sharing drinks and catching up.  Lots of laughs were had by all!

Sunday was a busy day.  We left the house at 9:20a for church and did not return until 6:30p.  In there we attended worship, ate brunch, attended the girls basketball game and visited with lots of friends.  Then over to Brewskys for more drinks, game with the kids and then home.  Thankfully, the kids did not have school the next day, so they had another fun day with their grandparents as mom and dad went back to work.

It was a busy, but fun weekend.  Thank you Dave and Linda for coming down, hanging in their with all of our plans and then watching the kids for us on Monday.
