Grandpa Dave called Monday and told us that he was going to drive down to see the girls in their track field event night. Wow! 6 hours for 10 minutes was so nice of him to do, it really meant so much to all of us. Thank you Dave, it was great having you come anytime!! Next time bring Linda.
This week is VBS, so he joined us this morning for a little while before heading back home. He was with Cameryn during Games.
And, he got to see our "whale" for elementary. He joined Avery and Ben for Bible Adventures aka storytelling. Today was Jonah and the whale. Here is Dave and Avery as Jonah running from God.
I was able to catch a shot of Ben as he was climbing into the whale. One of our awesome volunteers built this whale big enough for everyone to fit inside! It was pitch dark and with the help of a can of sardines very stinky = very cool.
Of course, Dave could not resist.
