Josh talked me into going out to lake McConaughy this weekend after a long couple of weeks at Sheridan. We finished up VBS Friday and hit the road that night. It was beautiful.

Avery's first reaction, it's freezing! And, I agreed.
They warmed up to it very quickly. As for me, not so much.
They smiled all day long. We all did.

Ben, big step. He rode the tube with Josh! He cried the entire time Josh was getting him on the tube. But, again, all smiles. And, today on the way home this was his favorite part. It's hard to try something new but risks are rewarded.
After a cool, cloudy and rainy week we got really lucky on Saturday. It was hot, sunny and no wind. A rarity on McConaughy. But, we soaked it all up. Thank you to Dave and Linda, the meals were great, the drinks were refreshing and the company was awesome. Thank you for a great weekend.
