Merry Christmas

My favorite picture of the season, Santa cannot hold a candle to Jesus!

This is one of the many things that I love about our church, that our children are allowed to play in the Nativity set. Our Director of Ministries & Discipleship stood by and took in the joy of children "living the story" her words. I couldn't have said it better.

The girls love baby Jesus.

The annual kid picture with the Nativity set.

It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?

As a wise friend said in her Christmas card this year, "May Christmas mean a little more for you too!"

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12
