Cavity and Cards

Today was one of those days that I thought would be a nice open day to do whatever. The kids were excited to work on their valentines cards for their party tomorrow. And, then I thought maybe we could organize rooms, toys, etc. We had the entire morning free! We did have a good time making our cards. Until, I noticed that Cameryn had been upstairs a little to quiet for a little to long....she pooped her pants! She was so proud of herself that she changed her own pants and got new ones on. And, that she put her dirty ones, poop and all in the laundry basket. Well, that can change the direction of your morning. Stop everything, everyone in the bath. Cameryn needed in, Avery and Ben jumped in for the fun of it. Then the laundry starts, scrubbing down the bathroom, and oh yeah, we have not finished our cards yet.

It made for a very fast morning!

This afternoon Avery had to go back to the dentist to have a cavity filled. She was very scared, we have talked about it for a couple of days, and the last few nights we have being praying for strength. Our Sunday school lesson from this past Sunday came in handy. We talked about giving our fears to Jesus, so we used this experience as a perfect time to do just that. I think it made her feel special last night when she heard Cameryn and Ben pray for her also. Today she was really cool about going, she did cry when the dentist would not allow me to come back with her. But, she came bounding out 20 minutes later all smiles. She didn't feel a thing! She even told me that she thought it was fun. Oh no, is was not suppose to be a fun experience!

Avery like her cards stacked in a pile.

Whereas Ben liked his lined up in a row, so that he could count them after each one he made.

Of course, Cameryn cannot be left out, she had to made valentine's for her friends too.

  1. Funny story :) I also like how their personalities come out in their card organization.
